Epson Sneak Peek! Sublimate onto Cotton and a NEW Printer Coming?
We caught up with Epson at Printing United to get a first look at new sublimation technology, including a 13” x 19” desktop sublimation printer in development and a sublimation solution that completely changes what kind of apparel you can print on.
Epson is filling a huge gap in the market, a mid-sized sublimation printer that sits between the entry-level F170 and the F570 24-inch roll-fed system. Perfect for side hustlers, Etsy shops, and small production work.
Using Epson’s new sublimation primer for cotton and natural fabrics, users can now sublimate onto:
100% cotton shirts
Bamboo + hemp apparel
Canvas tote bags
Baby clothing + onesies (OEKO-TEX safe!)
Light natural fabrics
This is not DTG. It’s still true sublimation but now expanded with this new primer solution.
