Would You Eat 3D-Printed Steak?

This steak wasn’t produced the traditional way. Using cultivated-meat technology, animal cells can be grown under controlled conditions and arranged into structures designed to mimic the muscle and fat found in conventional meat. Some companies are combining this approach with 3D bioprinting to recreate the fibers, texture, and appearance of steak. If the technology becomes commercially scalable, cultivated meat could potentially produce real animal meat while dramatically reducing the need to raise and slaughter entire animals.
