These Useful 3D Prints Seem Too Good To Be True. Are They?

In this video, we’re looking at some of the more viral 3D prints right now, to figure out: are they actually worth your filament (and time?) Or are they just 3D Printed gimmicks?

Because let’s face it – while we all LOVE functional 3D prints, there’s nothing worse than finding a list of cool things to 3d print, then throwing half of them in the trash because they don’t actually work. Imprecise parameters, fragile designs that don’t last… ugh.

So in this video, let me use up MY room full of 3D printers (and free filament) to do the testing for you… and figure out which ones are actual, USEFUL 3d prints, and which ones are filament better left on the spool 😉

We’ll look at some plain old fun, cool things to 3d print. Some functional 3d prints. Some bizarre 3d printing models. And something very promising – a kind of “gridfinity for your pocket.”

Spoiler alert: about half of these 3d prints didn’t work as advertised.
