Sublimation Printing Process Step by Step | Complete Guide for Beginner

Today, I will show you the sublimation printing process step by step.
First, switch on the sublimation heat press machine. Set the temperature to 220 degrees Celsius and the pressing time to 10 seconds.
Next, open Adobe Photoshop on your computer. Select the image that you want to print. You can also add your logo or text. In this example, I am adding TextileTrainer to the image.
Now, send the design to the printer. Before printing, remember to enable the mirror printing option. This is very important because the image will be transferred in reverse onto the fabric.
Also, make sure you use sublimation transfer paper. A normal paper will not work for this process. However, print the image.
The image has finished printing. Now, cut the fabric according to the size of the printed image.
Remember, sublimation printing works best on synthetic fabrics, especially 100% polyester or fabrics with a high polyester content. It does not produce good results on cotton fabric.
Next, place the polyester fabric on the lower bed of the heat press machine. Carefully position the printed transfer paper on top of the fabric, with the printed side facing the fabric. Make sure the paper does not move.
Now, close the upper heat press and press the fabric for 10 seconds.
After the time is complete, open the machine carefully and remove the transfer paper.
Now, see the magic! The design has been permanently transferred to the fabric. The print is bright, sharp, and becomes part of the fabric surface. (“Now, let’s see the magic! The printed design has been transferred perfectly onto the polyester fabric. The colors are bright, permanent, and will not peel off because the dye becomes part of the fabric.”)
