Thus far I’ve tested out basswood, plywood, black acrylic, clear acrylic, cardboard, card stock, and leather. All of which on both have turned out great. I would highly suggest do test samples on each piece of material and thickness prior to doing the real thing. Definitely will save you a couple tumblers when it comes down to it!
