Starrag pushed past the existing world record for machining Ti-6Al-4V on the newly developed S 1250 HD 5-axis horizontal machining centre, using a Ø40 mm coated solid-carbide cylindrical end mill (18 flutes) developed and manufactured in Starrag’s tooling facility. Cut data: Vc 120 m/min, ap 98 mm, ae 2 mm.
