Today I’m putting the Monport GT 60W MOPA Fiber Laser to the test on steel. Instead of sticking to simple sample pieces, I engraved a steel welding coupon, customized a Zippo lighter, and added a design to a stainless steel watch band to see how the laser performs on real-world projects.
Throughout the video I’ll show the engraving process, talk about the quality of the finished results, and share my thoughts on using a 60W MOPA fiber laser for steel engraving.
