Laser-Engraving Droopy & Dripple! Classic MGM Cartoon Wood Art & Lore

Welcome back to Re-Imagined Wednesday! Today, we are bringing a piece of golden-age animation history to life on natural timber: the iconic Tex Avery character Droopy Dog alongside his identical, soft-spoken son, Dripple!
First created by Tex Avery for MGM in 1943’s Dumb-Hounded (originally known as Happy Hound), Droopy became famous for his deadpan delivery, slow movement, and uncanny ability to pop up anywhere to outsmart his enemies. It wasn’t until 1954 in the short Homesteader Droopy that his son Dripple made his debut, copying his father’s exact melancholic demeanor and signature catchphrases!
In this video, we remaster our original wood-burning coaster with rich trivia and crisp visuals. Test your classic cartoon knowledge in our weekly quiz, let us know your favorite classic MGM short in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe for more nostalgia-driven wood art!
