I finally understand why people end up with a house full of 3D prints.

The Creality SPARKX i8 was my first 3D printer, and I went from wondering whether I’d loaded the filament correctly to choosing what to make next.

The highlight was a puzzle with 600 color changes and surprisingly little waste. Watching four colors work through one nozzle had me just as curious as the finished models.

This review follows my first attempts at multicolor 3D printing, including the mistakes, the results, and the software I’m still figuring out.
