INSANE Relief Engravings with the xTool F2 Ultra UV
In this video, I show you how to create real 3D relief engravings using a UV laser — including on wood, glass and a couple of other materials. We’ll walk through the full workflow using the xTool F2 Ultra UV laser, from manual focus calibration (which is critical for UV work), to creating a relief image in xTool Studio, to engraving detailed depth maps and even turning the result into a sellable product.
While this technique works on most UV lasers, this tutorial focuses on the xTool F2 Ultra because it’s one of the most accessible ways to get into high-detail UV relief engraving.
