I Turned 14 Bottles into 3D Printer Filament

3 years ago I built a machine to turn plastic soda bottles into 3D printer filament. Today, I’m pretty much a pro….(self proclaimed, obviously :P)….but really, I saved all my water bottles & soda bottles for 3 months, and I finally turned them all into filament from scratch using nothing but a water bottle cutter and a hot extruder.

Watching literal trash transform into clean, usable filament makes me a very very happy camper. So, join me on this journey while I show you exactly what happened…and why you should think about saving your water bottles too! 😉
