Last year, I secretly brought a 3D printer on vacation to prove to my wife just how useful 3D printing can be. Unfortunately, my 3D-printed beach hooks broke after just a short time. This year, I wanted to do better! Using filaSim, I analyzed the weak points, optimized the design, and made the hooks almost twice as strong. But did they survive the vacation this time?
