I got a Benchtop CNC Machine. Setup & first use of Genmitsu 4040 Pro

My first ever CNC machine: The Genmitsu 4040-PRO! I’ve been thinking about getting a benchtop CNC for a while.. something that I can use to make hydrofoils, but not too expensive, and easy to use… In this video, I’m unboxing it, putting it together, and running my very first test carve—a wooden sign.

Genmitsu ended up sponsoring this video! Thank you to them. 🙂

💡 CNC QUICK TIPS
Q: Is it actually easy to build?
A: Yeah, it’s mostly pre-assembled. you can build this in about 30 minutes.

Q: Can I run this on a Mac?
A: Definitely. I used a direct USB cable and it worked perfectly with [Easel]. No special apps were needed for my setup.
