I Built An App For Laser Engraving Users… And It’s 100% FREE!
LaserLogbook is a 100% FREE app built specifically for laser engraving users!
If you’re tired of keeping your laser engraving settings in notebooks, random notes on your phone, LightBurn files, spreadsheets, or trying to remember what speed and power settings worked the last time you engraved a material, LaserLogbook was built to solve that problem.
LaserLogbook lets you save, organize, search, and share your laser settings all in one place. Save the settings that work best for each laser and material, add photos of your results, and quickly find those settings again the next time you need them.
In this video, I give you a complete walkthrough of LaserLogbook and show you how the app works, including:
• Adding your laser machines and materials
• Saving laser engraving and cutting settings
• Tracking speed, power, frequency, passes, line spacing, and more
• Adding photos to your saved settings
• Quickly searching and filtering your settings
• Sharing your settings with the LaserLogbook Community
• Browsing settings shared by other laser users
• Downloading community settings directly to your own logbook
• Finding settings from laser manufacturers and brands
• And more!
LaserLogbook supports all laser types including diode lasers, CO2 lasers, fiber lasers, and UV lasers, so whether you’re doing laser engraving, laser cutting, marking, image engraving, 3D engraving, or even laser welding, you can keep your settings organized and easy to find.
I built LaserLogbook because I’m a laser user myself, and I wanted a better way to keep track of the settings and results I use every day. Instead of building another private notebook just for myself, I decided to turn it into something the entire laser engraving community could use.
And yes, LaserLogbook is completely FREE to download and use.
The Community will become even more useful as more laser users join and share their settings, so if you find LaserLogbook useful, consider sharing the app and uploading some of your favorite settings to help other laser users.
If you have suggestions, feature requests, or ideas for LaserLogbook, leave a comment below. I’m continuing to improve the app and would love to hear what you’d like to see added!
