DGI Hercules | Dye Sublimation Printer at 97 m2/h

DGI d.gen Hercules is an entry level dye sublimation printer for transfer paper and textile production. The Color Company distributes, installs and services DGI d.gen machines in Poland and Germany. This video shows the Hercules printing at production speed, with its printhead setup, print width and drying system.

Hercules runs two Epson i3200 printheads with 3,200 nozzles each. In 2-pass mode it reaches 97 m2/h across a 1,900 mm print width, so a single shift covers large transfer runs without a second machine. The 200 m take-up system keeps long roll-to-roll jobs going without an operator standing at the winder. Front and bottom dryers work together, so the paper leaves the machine dry at full speed.
