Cricut launches compact all-in-one sticker and photo printers
Cricut has introduced its first crafting machines with built-in printing capabilities, aimed at users wanting to create custom stickers and photos in compact spaces. The new lineup uses a dye-sublimation process, relying on heat rather than liquid ink for better color accuracy, and includes built-in lamination to make prints resistant to water, scratches, and fading.
The premium model, the Cricut StickerPix Print plus Cut, starts at $299. It supports 4×7-inch sticker sheets and 4×6-inch photo paper, and it can perform “kiss-cuts,” slicing only the top layer of the sticker while leaving the backing intact.
For users who don’t need cutting features, the smaller Cricut StickerPix Print starts at $169. This model prints directly onto pre-cut sticker sheets or standard 4×6 photo paper. Both machines are designed as space-saving alternatives to Cricut’s larger, traditional die-cutting machines.
