Creating memories with sublimated canvas frames…Step 3

Sublimation was scary for me to get into- I literally started from scratch without knowing anything!

I don’t have any real art skills or design knowledge.

I have a passion for creating memories though!

This project included one mistake after another. It included me tweaking the design every other day, changing colors and fonts.

It included me messing up my printer 😱, as well as me messing up a few canvases after trying different avenues of printing onto canvas.

It included me deciding I wanted to put backing on the frames, along with a sawtooth hanging thingy, that I started screwing on by hand for the first few. (I wasn’t a fan!)

The more I did it, the more I mastered it.

In this series, I’m sharing some of the steps I took to create a six-generation family legacy for some V.I.P.
