Cermet takes on 5 mm depth of cut! #shorts #cnc #machine #engineering #tools

In response to the recent rise in tungsten carbide raw material costs, we conducted a machining test using cermet inserts for heavy-duty cutting.

While cermet is typically used for finishing, our DoPent series demonstrates stable performance even with a 5.0 mm depth of cut on a BT40 machine. By choosing cermet as an alternative to carbide, it is possible to optimize machining costs while maintaining excellent surface quality.
