Can a Hobby CNC Machine Cut Titanium?

In this video, I put my hobby-grade CNC machine, the Shapeoko 3 XXL, to the ultimate test: machining titanium. Using Fusion 360, I design a part and generate all the toolpaths, then head to the shop to carve it out and see if this compact desktop CNC can handle one of the toughest materials around.

🤔 Why a Titanium Cutting Board? I got this ‘hand-me-down’ from a family member, who didn’t like its flat design. Since I’ve never worked with this material before, I had to take a chance.
