How do you fix a desk that’s exactly 0.5 inches too short? You could paint some plywood… or you could use it as an excuse to 3D print custom furniture trim.

I’m prepping the ultimate workstation for the new arrival, but IKEA didn’t exactly design the ALEX units and MÖCKLERYD for my specific electronics setup. Here’s how a little bit of CAD and some white filament saved the aesthetic of my new 3D printing station.
