Multi-Filament 3D Printed Shoes — Did It Work?



3D printing meets shoemaking — can functional footwear be made from multiple filaments and actually look like a real shoe? I applied real product design principles and advanced manufacturing techniques to find out.
Using Biqu Morphlex filament — a material that prints like TPU but finishes like rubber — and the Snapmaker U1 tool changer to handle over 3000 material swaps, this is what happened.
