My Preferred Settings for Stainless Steel:

Engraving: 100%, 10 mm/s, 300 lpc, 1 pass
Scoring: 100%, 20 mm/s, 2 passes

These will yield really deep, dark results. You should always test your materials with YOUR laser before messing with your actual jewelry pieces. You might find you prefer lighter engravings than me.
