3 Color Yeti Laser Engraving – How To

This video provides a brief guide for how I engrave an additional color onto a Yeti mug, But I don’t go too deep into detail about the software or engraving process, as your software and process will likely vary from mine.

I haven’t seen anybody else use this technique, so I’m hoping this video will spread the word.
I use CorelDraw 2018 and a ULS VLS2.30DT laser engraver (30watt C02 laser).
You will need to ensure your engravers rotary device can reliably return to center.
In my case the belt drive needed tightened as the slack was causing ghosting or skipping.

This “3 color” technique is limited to Black, White, and the color of your mug.
I use CerMark for the black markings and the finish is permanant if done right.
The white color comes from the stainless steel beneath the mugs coating.
And the color is that of the mugs coating.
