Dry ice “smoke” isn’t smoke, and it isn’t even CO₂! 🧊

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide at −78°C. It never melts. It sublimes, going straight from solid to gas. The spooky fog is actually water vapor from the air, condensing into tiny droplets, the same way clouds form.

⚠️ Safety: never seal dry ice in a closed bottle or container, because the gas expands about 800× and can burst it. Never touch it with bare hands.
