Changes of State: Sublimation – GCSE Physics

🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain that sublimation is the process where a solid transitions directly into a gas without first becoming a liquid, occurring under certain pressure conditions. It highlights that this process is rare and typically happens with substances that cannot exist in a liquid state at specific pressures, such as dry ice (solid carbon dioxide), which sublimates at room temperature.
