3D printed meat now on grocery shelves⚠️
3D printed steak, chicken and salmon
just hit US grocery shelves.
The Israeli company behind it is steakholder foods and its 3D printed meat line is under the brand name Perfecta
It first starts as soy protein and seed oils whipped into a paste that’s fed into a printer
That paste is then held together with methylcellulose, the same compound sold in pharmacies as a laxative.
when the entire process is finished, it looks like meat but not one ingredient in it actually came from an animal
And It won’t be called 3d printed so Look out for the word Plant meat, or for the brand name perfecta
