💰Thinking of starting a small laser engraving business? In this video I put the Creality Falcon A1 and the Rotary Attachment to the test to see if it could become a real money-making side hustle.
💰Using products supplied by Creality, I personalise stainless steel tumblers for Mason’s Il Cappo Del Cafe at Fosse Meadows, along with anodised aluminium dog tags that could be personalised for local dog walkers with their pet’s name, phone number and even a small graphic.
🛠️Along the way I show the complete process, including a mistake that caught me out! I accidentally fitted the rotary attachment the wrong way round, which resulted in the engraving being mirrored upside down.
🛠️Once I realised the Creality logo on the rotary should face towards the front of the machine, everything worked perfectly. Hopefully that little tip will save someone else from making the same mistake!
🐶I also engrave personalised dog tags on the flat bed and finish the video with one final experiment… engraving onto a T-shirt! I’d previously had success at 20% power, so naturally I thought I’d try 30%. It looked fantastic… right up until I moved the fabric and it completely fell apart! 😂 Sometimes you learn just as much from the failures as the successes.
